So soon the MAFIA STARTED :

There have been reports of overcharging for the water dispensed in Central station by passengers.

Look at the good intentions of the Railways being exploited by the indiscreet greedy ; they form a well nit MAFIA and do it bang in the central station itself .

This trend should be nipped in the bud . Minister sir kindly advice the concerned , so that the credit goes to Railways .

There is another area where the MAFIA charges extra . In most pay use toilets the rate plate is either defaced or some ad sticker stuck , to keep the official rates out of sight of the passengers. So that they can charge what they want.

A simple remedy for this :

A HELP LINE TO TAKE CARE OF THE ANOMALY AND THE COMPLAINTS.

OLD RATES SHOULD BE REPLACE BY LATEST AND MENTIONED SO.

I t is not the actual Rs. 2 extra you pay . If it goes to the one who sits in the stink all day i don't mind. Jobless people are made to sit and the money goes to some one else , who shares with the well oiled net work.

LET US START HERE WITHE WATER DISPENSING BUNK , THEN GO ON TO THE TOILET OVERCHARGING . AND THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE THE LEAD IN OTHER SPHERES WHERE THINGS ARE HAPPENING. more

Nothing special. All Railway babus from peon to Railway Board chairman have fundamental right to Hafftta and that cannot even be reversed by Parliament. How can you raise questions about Fundamental Rights. You are likely to be jailed. Good Luck. Take care. more
The concerned station master is to be taken to task for any such unauthorised activities going on in the station premises such as selling wTer more than MRP and charging passengers more for the bath room usage. Even the licensed porters are also fleecing the passengers and SM is to be held responsible. He should not worry about various unions & associations. more
Unfortunately, public will not open up for such overcharging or question some body overcharging. The selfishness has gone to such an extent, even after a quarrel between the vendor and co passenger for excess payment, they will not support the co passenger and keep mum. "It is not me, why should I bother" tendency is really killing the society. This is exploited by the vendors. more
While I can understand your well intended reporting , what we need to strive for is to create awareness and garner enmass support to eliminate such over charging by the MAFIA. This can happen only all fellow passengers / citizens join such public awareness campaign . more
