SOLUTION TO THE MAHA PANCHAYAT/REDRESS MECHANISM

The Idea of a Public Durbar/Sammelan, though good as an intention, is impractical for implementation at such a large scale. While visualizing a Village Panchayat, where the Panches and Sarpanch listen to grievances and met out justice, this cannot be used as a template in a City.
For such a scale, there has to be a simple graduated response mechanism like "Sahayata Kendras" at Block/Colony/Sector Level or in Government Aided Schools, where a grievance can be registered and a reference number given.
Delay or unsatisfactory redress can be taken to the higher level kendra at the Party office/Premises of the MLA of the Area, where a followup reference number can be given.
If there is still no satisfactory solution, the person can approach the Delhi Administration/CM for an appointment.
It is only these shortlisted persons who should be called for the type of one-to-one meeting that the Delhi CM has visualised more

One thing is clear, that these steps as outlined only take the administrators far away from the public and then the decisions are taken in closed doors, in a/c or heated rooms and they are normally far away from the problems of the AAM AADMI. In fact not only the solutions, but the problems themselves. Direct contact is the best. Only organisation is desired. The attendance shall be large initially and it shall slowly become tolerable if actions are taken. But if actions are not taken then there shall be frustration and people would continue to come to vent their frustration. I endorse that these durbars should be direct contact. Check how Bihar is doing with Nitish and follow or improve. Use technology as it is available today to improve compilation, direct contact and take actions. more
I agree with d veteran service officer n wish 2 add that such kind of durbars have heightened security concerns. Kejriwal may think anything, but the enemies thinking to create/ destabilize this country may create something like Mumbai attacks. We must not take such things so lightly. more
Appears like "Kejriwal ne aap ki baat maan li"........ more
though the intention and enthusiasm needs to be maintained, the noviceAAP needs to take into account that delhi is a massively populated area, with a multitude of problems and take appropriate redressal methods. more
Absolutely right Sir being a retd services head it would be apt if the govt takes the help of all services personality to make the start of a right procedure to end corruption. more
