Some merchants are charging extra on payment through debit card
Today a merchant namely Sahil Automobiles Pvt Ltd, F-469, Sector-63 NOIDA charged 1.2% extra from me on payment through debit card. The bill amount was INR 9201.00 and he charged INR 9311.00. I tried my best to convince him that it was not right to charge extra, but he was adamant and forced me to pay extra. I am posting this message as a complaint to the district administration and request the district administration to take effective action against the erring merchant. This is not a single case. Most of the traders are preferred not to accept payment through debit card or credit card.they do not have pos machines or machine is not in working condition. District administration can check it at Jagat farm or Tugalpur local markets more

The Dist Administration should take action immediately to this practice.It should issue a notification making the practice illegal.We should follow this further. more

The Noida Authority should severely penalize such merchants & circulate the action taken through a post on the 'Local Circles'. Let Sahil Automobiles get a life time lesson not to cheat the public. more
