Some ways to avoid mouth odor
Bad odor from Indigestion: Tongue will look coated white too. If severe take treatment with digestive aids -ayurvedic available. Continuing care -take water boiled with dried ginger / lightly roasted ajwain / cumin / both ajwain and cumin / coriander seeds half an hour before and half an hour after meals. Chewing roasted saunf / dhania also helps. Chew down a little raw ginger with a little salt. If indigestion due to killing of good bacteria in the stomach replace bacteria. Allopathic medicines available. Or take dilute buttermilk with a little ginger / lavang (cloves) / curry leaves / etc added before and after meals.
Bad odor from Liver / Kidney failure / acid reflux / diabetes: Take treatment for the condition. Wash mouth often taking care to puff cheeks out and in so that the water is thoroughly agitated in the mouth. Putting one small seed of Fennel (saunf) / cardamum (elaichi) in the mouth can give a fresher smell too.
