Sony also is profiteering
I thought atleast brands like Sony would follow GST rules but even they are profiteering. MRP of Sony Bravia 32 inch was 25900 on July 25 when gst rate was 28% and today 3 months later when GST rate is 18% its still having MRP 25,900.
Hope they are penalised as Nestle and deposit money in Govt fund. more

I think reduction in GST rate for TV was only for 24 inch and below. This needs to be checked. But I appreciate the crusade by Garimaji in various posts on cosumer matters. more

sony is the last company to do this it is the resellers work , and if it is appario retail it is definately their job , as their system does not allow billing at wrong gst rates more

Garima ji the two attachments you have attached here both have common MRP but have you noticed that offer price is different in both the brouchers. There is clear cut offer price reduction in 25th October 2018 broucher. On 25th July offer price is 22990 and on 25th of October it is 21490 so there is clear reduction in price. Moreover you are actively posting almost daily some post about profiteering by various companies, here I have a suggestion for you that if you have researched so much about profiteering then why don't you approach directly to Anti Profiteering Authority against these companies as you have sufficient material against these profit making companies? more

I think that is a good point mentioned by gopal and needs to be checked in the GST website when the last announcement was made reducing the GST whether it was done for all sizes or only for the limited ones. regards ashok more
