Sound pollutuon and disturbance by marriage halls in Noida (sec 34)
I would like to highlight a concern about the high volume music played by the marriage halls after 10 pm and even before that the volume of music is so high that the frames of windows shakes during the functions.
There are two such halls (at hoshiyaarpur traffic light), the kind of disturbance nearby residents faces are terrible due to such high music played by them and as exams are going on , the kids got disturbance and the noise pollution as well
My request to the authorities, that we have a law for such function the music has to be played on certain decimal points and should be stopped after 10 pm.
But these halls are playing it till late night.
To make the better environment this should be stopped . more

Dear Mr. Avtar Virk You are correct. I am also facing the same problem. Everyday there is a marriage or a function. The loudspeakers starts in the evening and goes on till midnight. There is no one to stop this. I don't know, how to tag this message to District Magistrate, Noida. If someone knows it, please forward, so that he can issue necessary orders to Police and owners of Marraige halls. more

This Problem is quite prominent & we face in Sector 41 Community center also. The sound level is so high that it is unbearable and the Window glasses start vibrating. Authorities are requested to control & implement the decision from the Authorities more

Dear Mr. Avtar Virk...... you are quite right that loud sounds and music from marriage and similar functions is quite disturbing.... However, though you have given the location of such marriage hall... where you yourself stay is not known. Difficult to say which one is illegal... your house or the Marriage halls? Further, I would also like to say that loud blaring of horns of Motor cars and Motorbikes is also very disturbing. I wonder whether you are also in the habit of constant and repeated honking of horns either of your car or 2-wheeler, whichever you may have. I know we all get disturbed with loud music... from Marriages of Neighbors, but none of us really bothers about the loud noises we make which disturb others. It is time that we look inwards rather than outwards. Once most of us start looking inwards, then the outward noises will automatically stop. Anyway for the time being.... please report to the Police or your local MLA, whom you may have voted for.. more
