Souring price prices -issues faced by citizens
1. All food products(both solid and liquid) should be packed perfectly after the products are cleaned as per the procedure prescribed in transparent covers.
2.The covers/Pouch/container should be printed with the following invariably: i)Batch no.,ii) date of packing, iii) Net weight of content when packing, iv) M.R.P (inclusive of all taxes/vat), v)Details of composition of the product, vi)Date of Expiry, vii) in respect of food articles Nutrition Facts, ingredient details, vii) and other relevant details in black letters in white background.
3.M.R.P price must be determined based on Production cost, Overhead cost, Transpiration,
and whole sale dealers' discount only. The manufacturers must submit their working of cost of MRP arrived to the authorizes concerned once in a year.
4.The product must be visible in any container/ cover/Box etc atleast through a window provided in it so that buyers can see the product and assess it.
5.The sellers , whether he may be a wholesale seller or retail seller, small dealers, departmental stores, or any seller, should be directed to give authenticated cash Bill or Bill against cheque given to the seller , with rubber stamp in them. Even computer or cash Bill generated by machines must be properly rubber stamped and signed by cashier.
6.Certain business house, Internet service providers do not give authenticated bill for the payment made through credit card or Debit card(example. Airtel offices). This should be viewed very seriously.
7. The Government of India must issue orders that prices must not be hiked without the permission of Govt., Price Control Department for for this and this could be done once in two years only.
8. The Price Control Department must monitor the quantity of products manufactured, quantity dispatched for sale through wholesale dealers and quantity stored by the manufacturers for future dispatch,Similar Returns must be filed by wholesale dealers regarding quantity procured, quantity sent for retailers and quantity stored in their storage godowns.
9.Government must encourage Direct Factory Outlets selling at Factory cost as much as possible.
10.Government of India must take severe action on adulteration of food articles, children food, adulteration of articles that cause injuries to health in any form , adulteration of Pharmaceutical products (medicines) imposing R.I. punishment up to 10 years or life impresentment . Law should be enacted to this effect.
11. The practice of manufacturers selling their products in the container(covers,boxes, tubes, bottles, etc, ) that are disproportionate to the quantity of product that is sold should be viewed seriously and 3 years implement to be imposed as such practices are duping buyers and make them to think that particular product in big cover contains more product. more
