Split the Delhi Police

We have three wings of the Government, The Legislature, The Judiciary and the Executive. Each is independent. That is how the Democracy works. The Police being the executive arm; should it not be under the control of the elected representatives of the people? Just like we have the MCD and the NDMC, we can have the Delhi Police for the State and a City Police for the Lytton's Delhi where the seat of the Central Government is. This model is followed in many countries and will be a win win for both Center & State i.e. Modi and Arvind and best for citizens. more

Yes, everybody in Power must listen to these "Out-of the-Box" Ideas...rather than implementing 'Police Reforms' to make them Honest & Accountable...let's DIVIDE Delhi/Delhi Government/ Administration/ DDA/ MCD/NDMC etc., with NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR Accountability to Central Government only...Brilliant Idea!!! more

I fully agree with Colonel Ajay Chaudhary that police should be splitted in to central police and Delhi police with Lutney Delhi should go to Central Police and rest with Delhi police reporting to Delhi Govt.and similarly DDA should be divided for the benefit of People of Delhi at large. Lets talk apolitical. Otherwise nothing can be implemented fully in Delhi. when BJP was in Rule in Delhi they also demanded the same and so did congress , so why not AAP. more
