Sports ! Need for urgent attention to promote other sports too.
Prior joining an Indian offshore vessel here in Brazil, I went to watch the Argentina / Bosnia match at Maracana Stadium @ Rio de Janeiro. I was wearing a tri-colour printed Tee and sporting the Indian Flag. You won’t believe this; there were so many people/ fans, of various countries, who were aware of our powerful Nation and wanted to click photo with the Indian Flag. I was even more thrilled and happy to comply!
I have fulfilled most of my dreams and look forward to my childrens future. I now, also have a desire / dream, to see India qualify in football for Olympics / FIFA WC 2018 and onwards. This is only possible with the strong encouragement / support from all fans and even more from the Government; not only for Football, but for Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Hockey, Archery etc. etc. too, just like how Cricket does now!
Request your urgent attention to promote & start preparing now onwards, with your un-ending support to the Indian Sports fraternity!

totally agreed...it is a shame that we have a country of so many people and so less to show! not even qualified for many major events (best eg is world cup football)....government needs to promote good training facilities...take off bureaucrats and corruption and regionalism from selection process more
