Standards for Adventure Travel
Can BIS please take up making standards for adventure travel. School children go for camps and are engaged in various adventures by agencies who claim to be event manager. No one knows whats right and safety and lives are at stake.

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has a specific and codified activities. It does not cover Standards for Adventure Travel. It has to devise uniform standards of quality and to perform product testing, to license the use of an official mark to indicate that a product has been certified as conforming to BIS standards. more
