Standards for fitness bands
Can BIS please advise if there are any standards for fitness bands. My concern is largely from an information intrusion stand point. Many of these bands are made in china like Xiaomi and what if information from peoples bedrooms homes and offices in India is being shared and kept on servers in China.

Criticising the quality of China-made products as a general statement would tantamount to prejudice. And yet, more than 50 per cent of products sold in our country are made in China, and, to cap it all, they are also sold under known and famous brand names. We simply cannot ban import of China-made products on prejudice, until our own indigenous manufacturers are able to produce those very products at affordable prices. It should be a matter of pride to be fair, especially towards competition....(Ramayana and Mahabharata)....

Do not allow any of the phone products.Do not use them.Anyway Google is doing that and recording all suchand so if MS powered phone.Avoid permissions
