Standards for Home Delivery
Can the BIS create standards for Home Delivery. Different companies are doing it differently. Different sectors and societies, businesses and commercial buildings are accepting them differently.
Why cant a simple standard be laid out by bis. Here are the 4 must do's for packers, 4 must do's for delivery personnel. Here are the 4 must do's for receiver.

By now we have become well conversant with the do's and don'ts for all of us as general to protect ourselves from the risk of becoming contaminated of the virus. Every day there are numerous posts through various social media regarding the required precautions. The precautions need to follow in receiving the home delivery items and vegetables have also been circulated more than once. If these are not enough, I am afraid if issuance of further sets of guidelines for the shop keepers and the consumers would be of any use. more

Writing up laws, rules and regulations has never been a problem in our country. It's their implementation, that is !! more

completely agree. what has BIS maintained so far that we should expect something now. biggest problem is we want the size and scope of govt. to increase. result - plethora of govt jobs with no accountability. why dont you communicate your wishes to companies as suggestions. they can handle the standards better than a sarkaari babu more

Exactly! Laws are written by people who dont have to follow them. Are so impractical that nobody can follow them, leading to widespread corruption and disrespect for laws.
There should be a freeze on drafting new laws. Emphasize the implementation and to make laws easier to follow, and delete old and defunct laws. more
