Start Health Circle
On same lines as connected consumers, local circle should start a circle with health ministry called healthy citizens. Just like consumer enforcement is in hand of state food and consumer dept, health is in hand of state but atleast policies can be made with peoples participation. I think serious flaws exist today in health policies and no one seems to be taking it head on? its as if everybody is ignoring the problem. corruption is at the root of it. A brilliant thought-initiative by Ms Sujata. Only today I read in the newspaper that the government was spending a paltry 1.2% of the GDP on healthcare. Looking at the "poor" and the "elderly" who are not covered by health insurance are shouting aloud for help in healthcare. Taking advantage of public brainstorming on the subject under the canopy of Local Circles would deliver the government healthy and constructive suggestions for bettering the situation in the country. more

Health issues referred to in the existing Circles are already well care taken of and there is no need for introduction of a new Circle therefor. more

Good idea. Let us take up Public Health System in a Circle. It will be good if practicing doctors participate in this circle. more
