State Entry Tax for Ecommerce Goods
Somes states have imposed entry tax of 10% for e-Commerce shipments and several others are about to impose it.
State tax collections are getting hit as small local retailers are seeing lower sales and eCommerce companies only impose taxes at point of sale. Their is also the long term impact on state's industry, employment and revenue
If the entry tax is imposed as proposed, it will increase the cost of goods for the consumer as they will be paying tax at point of source and then again an entry tax for their state of delivery.

There should be ONLY ONE single tax system. States should be deprived of their right to impose additional taxation. States wanting money should devise ways to reduce their own expenses and reduce subsidies. Actually all tax money is either going as salaries with NO tangible benefit to citizens. There should be SINGLE tax system for retailers & also e-commerce transactions. more
