State of Visa services in India

VFS Global is probably the worst monopoly service out there.

- Accept fees in cash only
- Staff not trained on all visa classes
- Mandate masks to customers, when most of their staff inside don’t wear one.
- Get you to use their print/photo services when not needed and charge a bomb.

Total loot on everything. This should be migrated to TCS type of large outsourcer who does Passport. more

With present status of India, India should demand exactly same set of documents from Schengen citizens for Tourist Visa what they demand from Indian citizens. more
Everything transparently done. My payment they accepted electronically. Photo services included. Yes, TCS improved passport services. TCS's predecessor, HCL Perot was bad. All backend procedures seamless. For Canada visa, VFS Global, New Delhi service is efficient, based on personal experience. more
Services in india at prices that are higher than that in a foreign country. What rationale is this? VFS may be appointed by embassies to front-end them but not to profiteer the way they are. their service is not commensurate with the charges. A majot overhaul is needed to fix this anomaly. more
Ms. Chhabra, while noted your comments partially, I am not agree with you for switching to TCS, when income tax authority have switched over to Infosys from TCS. As regards payment terms, VFS should go on with the GOI policy for digital payments. And also, may look after the professionalism of staffs. Otherwise, their service is up to the satisfaction. Hope, for the best in future and the Govt. may look into the matter too... more
