States may make RT-PCR negative mandatory

Because if you want to come to my state Maharashtra you will need a RT-PCR negative report (attached circular). I totally expect every state to do this so they are safe and why not. If I come to Delhi, Delhi should also demand the same from me.

Not sure if we will keep omicron away with this or not but for sure RT-PCR industry will get a boost.

Govt of India should cap its price to consumer to 200 rupees or so. more

Foolish decision, how they will implement at Railway Station. Thousands are arriving in Metro cuties via railway. more
a foolish decision , Maha is the second state with largest number of cases, the people have to follow norms not RT - PCR tests more
There has been enough information and learnings over the past couple of years on the norms to be followed by people. And rtpcr tests on travel within India has not worked. It is a burden for the administration and hassle for the travellers. The responsibility should now be with the travellers and whom they meet to keep themselves and others safe. The administration should focus on ensuring that anywhere where there is crowding, the crowd is dispersed immediately and organizers penalized heavily. And vaccination should be the highest priority. Establishments should take the ownership for ensuring safety. Only International arriving passengers should be subject to tests and quarantine. Anyone else who wants to get a test done should do so at their discretion. I was told that many doctors are not prescribing rtpcr tests for patients, even though they have all the symptoms. Is this a silent govt directive so that the numbers are kept low? more
All State Govts should focus on covid appropriate behaviour to control spread of any variant. Making it compulsory to have RT PCR test report (-) to enter any State and Airport will certainly help. Railways/Roadways must also ensure implementation of covid guidelines atleast for another 6 months. more
It is really FOLISH to state that RT-PCR industry will get a boost. The iportat thing is for peoplle to remain protected from those of us who don't bother. Do not even wear masks or get themselves vaccinated. We have plenty of idiots i our country at present. more
