Do stents have fixed pricing or a maximum retail price? Is it printed somewhere? more

While I am sure that the Price would certainly be printed on the packaging but, I do not think there is any way that you will get to know about the cost since the Doctors usually decide what they want to use and make it sound as the best option for the patient. The a Doctor then decides what is to be charged for the stent. The companies also print prices the way you have MRP printed on bottled water in upmarket restaurants. more

The hospitals have to exhibit the costs of appliances,operation charges and the service charges.At least booklet is expected. more

As Per CGHS Cost of Bare Metal Stent is Rs 12000/-& Bare Metal Stainless Steel Stent is Rs 10000/- more
