It's not only over charging, they take the entire fee in cash and as i understnd, don't declare it as Income avioding Income Tax. It's a serious matter. They don't accept payment by credit card too even though they sit in large and famous hospitals. more

Private OPD concept should not be there at all in hospital those have secured land on concessional basis from government. Indeed if doctors need to do private practise they cns do at their own clinics not at the hospitals more
