Littering, Spitting and Urinating in public places is common in India. Despite policy, local understanding and enforcement is difficult and not on the spot. Given this, we want to seek your best ideas on what can be done by common citizens to discourage such practices or help reduce them.

1- providing bins at every 200 yards 2- construction of urinals / toilets with adequate water ,maintainance. 3- Most littering ,open burning is being done by servants, maids,hut dwellers ,slum dwellers ,small shops selling tea , cigarettes etc Fine them ,punish them . more

So I came across lot of people urinating at public places. So I thought of first you know identifying those locations through people staying in the localities. i came across an idea of planting trees at those places or make those places clean and put some benches and keep the newspaper to be read by the people which would make the public be bit aware about surrounding.. you guys can also pitch some ideas for the same.. more
