In Noida where I reside, the Noida Authority is completely ineffective in managing the menace. It is good idea that for Noida to be in top cities list the authority must be made to do effective stray management with funding provided under Swachh Bharat mission. These stray animals are not only threat to humans but their excreta is found in public places. Good facilities to care for them and feed them is need of hour. Lets make the Government act. Please share my post or above survey details with your municipal couniclor or commissioner or authority people.

Sir, we should not limit it to stray dogs. Even pet dogs are equally pr more dangerous. Pet owners remove chain and allow the dog to roam around in the garden. Their please, dog can be brought to public places, or that the dog is homely, it would not bite. I have seen cases where dog on seeing another god or a cat n the garden would blindly run towards it. A senior citizen may not be fast enough or may be too startled and fall down even though dog has not actually touched him/her. So pet dogs without leash and muzzle should not be allowed in public places. more
There is dire need to control population of dogs and monkeys to save human beings and the crops of farmers. more
i think the stray dog menace is in every locality and all municipal corporation people sleep over the matter till some dog attacks someone and he succumbs. Then the muncipal people do the blame game of animal welfare org do not allow them. They can immune the stray dogs by injection which they do not object and only if they resort to killing do they object more
It's corrupt and money laundering. The same ๐Ÿ• dogs will come back to spend the funds once again. Best is keeping an NGO and making a solid metal tag for each ( zone class etc) will let everyone know that they alter zones and free them. more
