I have written so many emails to LG Delhi for dog menace, but no response. Pathetic Condition of Delhi and worst infrastructure nowadays and things will not change. more
Problem of stray dogs is every where including Mayur Vihar Phase 2. Understand Govt is sterilizing them to prevent there number grow. But in every society we have people who feed stray dogs which results in there accumulation in particular spots. All these people want to enjoy pets at the cost of other as owning a dog adds many responsibilities. There is a need to have law to penalize these residents like there is law to save animals. Another big nuisance Delhi residents are facing is Monkeys for which the Govt is doing nothing and in many areas similar incidences are happening. more
I stay in NCERT Campus in South Delhi and we have residential areas where there are about 4-5 gangs of strays. However with people feeding them they are not hostile. There has hardly been any case of stray bites. Also the MCD Van comes calling once a year and sterilize the males. I believe that if the stray is shown some affection...even one roti can make him loyal to you. Try it. more
The Strays have now become pack animals and they are no longer the domesticated variety. We must get together and file RTI;s with all MCD ( Most corrupt Department) to seek information on the numbers and areas they have been neutralizing strays more
YES, WE AT BANNU ENCLAVE,PITAMPURA ARE ALSO FACING THE SAME. CHILDREN AND SENIOR CITIZENS ARE SCARED, VERY OFTEN ATTACKED. MANEKA GANDHI, HON'BLE MINISTER AND ANIMAL ACTIVIST, PASSES DICTATORIAL ORDERS CONCERNING ANIMALS WITHOUT CARING A BIT ABOUT HUMAN BEINGS. STRANGE, BUT TRUE. more
