Stray Dogs

For some people dogs are more precious than humans. Best part is that these are the people who hardly walk. They always move in their car/s. So, they have not to be worried about the dogs. If common citizens suffer, to hell with them. more

YES I FULLY AGREE WITH SH.JITENDRA SODHIJI. DOGS ARE THE LOYAL COMPANION OF HUMANS FROM AGES. YES THEY NEED LOVE AND IF YOU LOVE THEM THEY WOULD LOVE YOU BACK UNCONDITIONALLY. PIGS ARE REALLY A NUISANCE AND HUDA MUST DO SOMETHING FOR THAT . LET US CONCENTRATE ON THIS ASPECT BESIDES MANY OTHER RATHER THAN HATING THE POOR DOGS. Circle of Animal Lovers (Regd.) Dear Mr. Haque I was reviewing your post and the comments of some others on the forum. Please understand, that there are ways and means of handling issues pertaining stray animals rather than sounding satirical. 1. Stray dog population can be controlled by vaccination / sterilization. Problem is that we crib and cry but will not rise to take an initiative towards the same. How many like you are willing to make a financial commitment towards it? People like you want the govt. to do everything and play a blame game 2. Stray dogs can serve as excellent community dogs if treated well. There are n number of examples of the same. Even where I live, we had similar issues in the past...but with knowledge and understanding the scenario is different now 3. While people report that a stray chased them, attacked them or their children, etc how many report the cause for it. In majority of the cases, either the stray has been threatened, attacked, etc. Throwing stones at them is a common sight....have seen kids do it, elders do it. Please advice what you reaction would be if someone pelted stones at you? 4. Regarding the other stray animals like pigs , cows etc, in real terms they are not strays but bred for more than one reason. Ideal solution would be to get in touch with MCG to have them picked up (though a complicated situation with people from the local villages who actually breed them coming up....had personally tried for their relocation in the past but faced a lot of resistance) 5. The eco system calls for co-existence....remember, we humans are the ones who have been encroaching on the land on which these animals roamed freely and not vice-versa 6. In case you guys are genuinely concerned about the issue, please feel free to connect, together we can work towards an amicable solution. Merely passing a comment is not worth it 7. Lastly, Mr. Haque, while writing the above, let me clarify that neither me nor the guys I connect with are mere moralists passing statements in the air (grounded people who walk and also walk the talk). As a responsible citizen if you are genuinely keen to work towards it, please do connect with me on bikash1975@gmail.com or call on 8375059275 more
Hi Sanjay Singh and all.....Sure I like your comments for solution...let us think and suggest how to take it up...Good. more
