STRUGGLE FOR EXISTENCE IN NDA GOVERNMENT RULE
We the Senior Citizens were very much hopeful in NDA Government for our day to day life. We have worked hard to say Good-Bye to UPA Government.
We have been hurt badly by wrong decision to cut interest rates in Senior Citizens Saving Scheme.
We don’t have any pension, as we worked in Private Enterprises, so the price index can’t be taken care-of.
At this stage of life the medical expenses are also rising day by day.
The cost of living is increasing extensively day by day & fixed deposit interest rates are decreasing by NDA Government, causing adverse effects in our life.
Senior Citizens Savings Scheme was started by UPA Govt. in 2004 at interest rate of 9% which was not reduced for 11 years but was increased to 9.3% with effect from 01/04/2015 By UPA Govt.
NDA Govt. instead of increasing it reduced it to 8.5% with total disregard to hardship it is causing to Non Govt. Retirees.
So, we request Govt. to restore at least the interest rate of 9.3% in Senior Citizens Saving Scheme if not increase the rate to 10% and increase amount of eligible deposit to Rs.25 Lakhs from Rs.15 lakhs.
We request Local Circles to bring this to the attention of PM Shri Modiji for immediate action. more

Free of cost Health Services to all Senior Citizens is collective responsibility of Society and State. Government should ensure totally free of cost/sponsored health related expenses of Senior Citizens. more
