It is high time we phased out this above which has ruined and destroyed India. What is so agonizing is Infosys Narayan Murthy, Wpro Premji, Defense Chief, Cabinet Secretary, Diamond Merchants they all get now gas subsidy, the Diamond Merchant son spends per day Rs1000 on pocket money.
Also what is the use in giving this gas subsidy to scientists and professors, Defense officers whose salary is more then lakhs per month.
One more thing is the freebies given like free petrol, phone, the defense canteen facilities etc. A DRDO scientist who earns Rs.1. lakhs per month will get one packet biscuit for Rs.3 from defense stores, while a garment worker earning Rs.5,000 per month has to pay Rs.5 per packet. Also the very very rich defense people they misuse the drinks and other products.
So 100% we should remove the gas subsidy and all other freebies, the really poor and deserving be given this facility. more

Freebies to be avoided: 1) Free electricity to electric company employees 2) Free travel to Railway employees in travel 3) Free travel to airport employees 4) The free house, cars, etc. to politicians, top government employees, etc. more

In DRDO canteen the scientists earning Rs.1 lakh and more they get food for Rs.30/- per plate, which outside costs minimum Rs.150.00 more

The cost of food in the Public sector companies, Parliament canteens, State assembly canteens is so cheap. why so cheap? Please ban this, in this public sector companies the employees earn so much but for canteen they pay such cheap amount, Outside for one coffee it Rs. 10 to Rs.15 in canteens full meal for Rs.15. Also who this food coupons to be given, when they are paid salary and other perks? more
