Sufficient nos of Toilets are not available hence citizens are mostly forced to urinate on the streets. Small nos of toilets which are available are mostly not hygienically maintained and normally overflowing and stinking. Most highrise/ multistoried buildings have 5 of more shops but rarely have a common toilet for their staff and visitors. Rules should be made to take care of this problem also. more

Agreed, like in London, toilets are paid service, with a very basic charge. They are coin operated and do not require manned service. Once there are toilets in every market, this problem will be largely solved. However, such initiatives are largely not possible without govt support. more

Join the compaign , form a local group and do your best to keep the area aound you CLEAN. At the same time develop better representatives for Local Bodies.Form a Local Circle in your city " PROFESSIONALS FOR CITY" .to replace politicians by Professionals in Civic Boy. Form groups of 4 to 10 persons in each ward and select a good well educated person to be the representative of that ward in next civic election. At present we don’t bother for Municipal elections, we just put our stamp on a candidate selected by Politicians. On the contrary people of the area should choose an honest well educated person and talk about him in your Ward. Let him contest and Win the election. When such persons will sit in Civic Body...you get answer to your concern. more
