The Govt has taken action on our pesticide issues we have been discussing. See attached.
12 pesticides have been banned 6 more by december and if we keep finding issues I am sure other dangerous ones can also be banned.
I urge each one of you to do this more and more. I only started this 2 months back and have shared 8-9 posts so far. I think local circles only takes up the bigger causes and I find FSSAI too slow so better to take things in our hand and escalate. more

It is a good process of banning has started on a phased manner . The farmer needs time to adopt as well as adapt to other safer means. Now is it possible to ban manufacture ? I don't think so , the Government can ban the availability as pesticides for the vegetables and fruits . Some of them are also used in ripening . How the government can segregate and avoid black marketing is the question . more
