Suggestion to BIS
If a citizen wants to know food, agriculture, water, building or any standard set by the government, the standards are not easily available online for people.
Can BIS create simple infographics like localcircles, creates for its poll results and share in the circle.
Then all one has to do it is refer to that and if interested go to actual standard. more

it is a good idea if one wants to only read and not download the same then it should be made possible without charges but if one wants a hard copy then it should be chargeable. more

BIS standards are priced ones and I wonder how it can be made available in online for free use by public. However BIS numbers for all products can be made available on line for free use and those interested can buy same. I do not under stad what ou mean by 'poll results' Prof. Raja Sreenivasan more

WHEN AUTHORITIES ARE FORMED AND PUBLIC MADE TO FOLLOW THE RULES , REGISTER , THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD PERFORM THEIR DUTIES . It is not just Rights and ,authorities to manage and enjoy perks alone ; they come only when responsibilities are also performed . more
