Suggestions :
1. All digital \ electronic transactions (incl. IRCTC payments) should be ridden of any transaction fee
2. Purchase Cards \ P-Cards to be made mandatory for all government agencies for purchases (upto 5lakhs; beyond which should be through normal electronic bidding)
3. Rupay and BHIM to be promoted on large scale and link all bank accounts to AADHAR and Mobile numbers
4. Biometric based PoS devices should be procured on large scale and deployed in Tier3 cities and villages of India for shopping.
5. 'Buy-from-Farmer' direct sales channels such as organised market places should be set up across the Nation and PoS devices should be supplied to the supporting agencies\co-operative societies.
6. All Banks should have electronic transaction windows
7. All utility payments should be directly linked to bank account of customers, without which the users should not be permitted to get a new gas\electricity\water\telecom connection
8. Immediately train teams (panchayat\village office employees) who could visit villages and educate public on electronic transactions
9. All Central \ State \ PSU \ Semi-Govt agencies, Tolls, Checkposts, Educational Institutions, Medical shops, NGO donations, Other Public facilities (such as Parks, Parking, toilets etc.) to be mandated to accept electronic payments
10. Credit cards to be promoted more than debit cards due to additional security features. Banks should be mandated to collect Biometric data of all account holders and issue a credit card for each account holder. While promoting and going in for e-transactions, we should keep certain things in mind. Some are enlisted below: 1. Government has to assure that the data of e-transactions is available with it only. It will not share with any agency for any reason whatsoever. There are agencies which analyse the data for someone and then the customers are lured by the companies to buy their products and/or the data is manipulated to promote common man. Take the example of set top box. Data is available what, when for how much time you are watching which channel, serial, movie, advertisement. Now agencies compile this data, analysis, manipulate it and common man falls to prey to such things. 2. Utility bills need to be paid through ECS, reason being sometimes service provider over charge and even if you dispute the charges, your bill is paid. Instead, you can make payment through net banking. 3. If we are expected to move towards cashless economy, it is imperative that all the charges, be it convenience charge, service charge, transaction charge or anything else by any name, should not be applicable. more
On line payments FAIL far too regularly. Some penalty be introduced on Banks/ payment gateways when transaction fails for no fault of consumer. more
The money lending act prohibits any interest above 18% per annul. But bank charges around 35 to 40% interest on credit card payment fail or. Finance charge is range from 500 to 1000. It is nothing but different way to squeeze common man. Please think of it. more
As we Indians we find new innovative way to start it. Grievances re-addressee system should be fast. Fear of consequence, should be the greatest tool to stop corruption. more
