Suggestions to serv railway better

• Reduction of corruption at least 50% from present mark –all appointments from DRM and above through independent committee headed by the CVC.
• Privatization of noncore sector with clear TOR and stringent measure for violation of TOR
• Reduction of nonproductive expenditure. –reduction perks at least by 75% from DRM and above, 50% to other posts. Fund available thus should be strictly used for improving railway safety.
• Real time tracking onboard complains especially on passengers security and corrective measures there off.
• Instead RPF onboard security of important trains and crime infested tracks to CISF. more

Suggestions to serve railway better. • There can be incentive based performance appraisals for staff TTE/TTI and above. Reduction of corruption at least 50% from present mark can be objective. • Privatization of noncore sector may be tried. • Reduction of non-productive expenditure be minimised but not at the cost of aminities. More funds may be allocated for improving railway safety. • Onboard complains especially on passengers’ security and corrective measures may be there. A sepatate railway court may start to deliver quick justice. It is presently there at non performance level. • Role of RPF may be reduced for onboard security. There are some zones where crime ratio is uncomfortable level. Such place may be tracked by satellite. I was wondering on seeing a notice on highway that this is ‘crime prone zone’. It is rediculus. If possible more safety be observed for important trains and crime infested tracks. On Sun, Dec 13, 2015 at 10:11 AM, Bichitra Datta < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more

I am catching a train from Sahibabad, Ghaziabad railway station. A part of footbridge's roof is not covered for the last 4-5 months. If it rains, most of the water will be on the footbridge. It will subsequently damage the footbridge. I do not know why such kind of carelessness is happening at Sahibabad which is the second next famous Railway station from New Delhi. Please take up the matter with Prabhu Sir. If he comes to know about, the work will be done in a day or two. It was the condition at Shivaji Bridge (next to New Delhi Station) also. After we made a complaint to Mr. Prabhu, it got repaired in a week. more
