supply of meals and breakfast should be done by IRCTC in trains, in order to avoid exploitation of passengers by private vendors who charge exjuberantely, or the rates should be fixed by IRCTC and the rate chart should be discharged by the vendor more

Meals supplied by IRCTC is not up to any standard. It is not tasty and not prepared properly. Now a Kolkata based company,which is having foodstalls in all major Stations, has a practice of serving its food on order at particular station of your choice. Food is good in terms of taste, hygiene. Even the cost is less. When we have such choice, let the Railways take proper decision. Imposing the IRCTC food on passengers may not be correct. Because it is passengers needs and the duty of the Railways is only to create an healthy platform of availability. more

Unless the white elephants start moving, start checking the food seriously and honestly, nothing is going to improve. more
