Yes dust bins and technology are some of the steps towards cleanliness. But jhadu is the individual's technology, and Modiji's effort was symbolic. Prime Minister is not expected to do it daily. he has to motivate the nation. Every individual must use a jhadu, dusting cloth and a mop. Pick up the muck from the place you use, and put it in a dust bin with a tray, wipe or mop, this is what my parents, teachers, friends and institutions one worked in taught/enforced. Many in India expect a band of safai karmacharies to follow them from behind! more

there needs proper arrangement to collect rubbish at a place( in dust bins) on every street & disposal of same so as to keep roads clean. more
