If one decides have an " ownership" attitude of areas outside ones house..... and treat these "outside public areas" as ones home and STOP LITTERING.... PERIOD.... NO EXCUSES, SEARCH FOR ELUSIVE DUSTBINS, ETC... perhaps those 60,000 sanitation workers in Delhi and many more in NCR will start handling and disposing wadte/garbage..... instead of exhauting themselves by collecting the litter readily spread all over the city... and constantly moving it bsck and forth from one place to another. 15-20 million residents who NEVER LITTER will soon see a "neat and clean" Dilli as these politicians and sanitation workers will be left eith.... NO MORE EXCUSES..... and soon expenditures on "sanitation" will reduce..... ALLl that is required is...... COMMON CIVIC SENSE FROM ALL DILLIWALLAS... Those who ignore this..... need to be aggressively fined..... Rs 2-5,000/- or more and/or a few nights in jails as they "plead their case" with the judiciary..... no bail... no "fadt teack" trials or "health problems" that lets them enjoy 5star hospital facities, etc.... Those who do not believe this can be done in a democratic India..... visit or read about Sikkim.... yes... this is full fledged State of India under the SAME CONSTITUTION of India.... AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN..... DILLI DESERVES THIS.... Does it not....???? more

Mr Rajeev I to have a same feeling like u about the swachh Delhi abhiyan, as I also clicked many photos and uploaded into the app but nothing moves till date. Then yesterday I wrote a complain to cm Delhi Ofc through email and got a prompt reply from his osd that your complain has been forwarded to concern dept. Plz you too do the same as a responsible citizen of Delhi. Let's fight it out at our end also. more

We tend to give a political twist to everything. Let us first analyze the root causes. Citizens need to be educated about garbage management. Let us forget all political affliations and think of the country as one. We need to help each other to save each other! more
