Sir, Swachh Bharat is only on the Baashan only not on the practical way. Keep Dust Bin ample in a proper way on the roads! Government has to fine those people who are making dirty in the public places, like road, park, etc. For the purpose, it has to pass a law in the court and the said law should be followed very strictly by employing security people – whether government or private agencies coupled with cameras. Spitting, littering garbage or throwing waste (bit of paper even!) on the road/park/private places is to be fined! People who are taking their pets in the morning and evening should carry a small bag and water bottle so that they should keep the road clean! If they are violating they should be fined heavily! Stray dog should not be find in the road! In addition to this, appropriate authorities should keep the city Green by maintaining very good parks and growing trees on the side roads. They should not allow industrial belts near to the residential area and even in the industrial areas, Government has to make ensure that the whole area is environmental friendly. Yours T. This campaign is one sided. What does it say for the Solid Waste Management in our cities and particularly Delhi? Supreme Court has invited attention of LG of Delhi and all chief secretaries of states in India. We need to read the Rules on Solid Waste Management of 2016. These are rules issued by Govt of India and to be followed by entire country. Onus of Garbage Segregation is on every household in the country. All Local Bodies are to manage the Collection and Disposal of segregated garbage for which they are to levy charges. Why three Municipal Corporations of Delhi are neglecting this duty? Why garbage is allowed to be littering streets of Delhi? People are carried away by Amitabh Bachhan campaign and Modis dialogues and are tempted to say all is well. The SBM is a sham. more
No significant change is seen in Shaheen Bagh colony (near Kalindi Kunj) in south Delhi. We have a regular struggle. When ever we approach SDMC, they clean streets, but after that it is back to square one again. History repeats itself when we contact authorities again. more
Col Gian Rana, 82,palm Green apartment, plot No 3A, Sector 11, Dwarka, New Delhi. Theree has been a a change but much more needs to be done. Great menance is of dogs, they litter roads, pavements, it is difficult to walk. Vacant plots next to societies have become dumping grounds for waste and breeding place for mosquitoes. Regards Gian more
There is definite improvement. Roads and poor drainage need plenty of work to be done. On Tue, Oct 2, 2018 at 1:34 PM LocalCircles Manager < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
