I am from Nagpur, from an area which often prides to be the abode of erudites. I find no change in attitude whether from the residents or from the municipal authorities. However, I do not consider the Swatch Bharat Mission either to be a failure or a success. We are yet to transform our mind sets as a citizen of an independent democratic nation.Alienation from the sense of dutie/responsibilities is yet to make a departure. Thousand years of slave mindsets cannot be wiped out in 5 years. It requires actual commitment from all, persuasions for the causes, and perseverance to endure the pains of failures. more

I don't accept that Maharashtra is better with respect to cleanliness as Mr. Sudhir. The status at Kalyan Dombivli Municipal area is same, no better. It is unfortunate that Kalyan Dombivili area is included in smart city plane. Unless otherwise, local body is involved with sincere efforts, no city ould come out with clean. more

We all are expert on showing the result on paper rather than on ground level. I am staying in Ambarnath , One can very well observe the lacking in all respect in Ambarnath. i.e. horrible roads, dirty drinking water, picking of garbage not in all the areas. There in no footpath and roads are fully occupied by hockers. any many more The entire citizens are panic. more

The system of collecting garbage from each n every premises has been started a few months ago in suburbs of Mumbai. It has been informed by the security personal of our society in Goregaon West that the vehicle assigned duty to collect the garbage did not turn daily or some time turned overloaded and therefore did not collect garbage. The result is overloaded dustbins remains in the society till another round of collection which may be immediate next day or number of days later. more
