Swachh Bharat mission has been slowed down

Swachch Bharat Mission should be a continuous process . It is necessary program .

It is very unexpected matter as the the status of cleanliness in most of the parts of Cities , Railways , public places is becoming unsatisfactory .

We have lost the heat of Cleanliness drive. Even Municipalities have lost interest in Cleaning activity. There are powerful Labor Unions who will be reluctant. For Example, Mumbai Roads and Footpaths are hardly cleaned. Even Repair work so shoddy that needs repair every year and this suits Contractor and Staff. Presently I am in USA/ Los Angeles. See the Roads and Foot paths. Once they are made, these do not need any repair for years together. Foot paths are Senior Citizen Friendly. Gutter Covers are fully aligned with Road/ Footpaths. KASH WE COULD SEE SUCH THINGS IN MUMBAI. more
Will anyone dare to bring population control bill? Increasing numbers of people and decreasing resources to look after crores of people We the educated class on LC can crib and blame governments as being negligent to our own cleanliness and godliness Take a pledge to do counseling to helpers about numbers of children and face consequences..either these helpers run away from your home and take up another job where there's no preaching or You are listened to and take them to nearest regd family planning center for health BTW state of Gujarat is doing maximum number of laprascopic procedures on women to help them stay healthy and have lesser numbers of children. Drs do get paid for each operation done and patients have to pay nothing. This rule of free laprascopic ligation is applicable all over India Southern states are better than northern states which are happily accepting to get more children, for political reasons for their leaders who believe in divide and rule policy to hold on to their Kursis more
We are living in posh colony but people throw garbage outside in the backlanes take care of pets and neglecting neighbors in next home If we have committed people working with RWA we tend to fight over this also and rivals as opponents as RWA are created

Why blame poor who are hungry illiterate and get carried away by false promises of leaders? more
Population control measures cannot be enforced by the Central Govt as health is a State subject. Due to dirty vote bank politics, no political party wants to enforce birth control measures. Instead lacs of people from adjoining countries are entering India illegally with the support of local politicians and govt machinery. They want to jack up their vote bank. Such people live in slums and generate filth and involve in all sorts of crimes. more
Population cannot be a cause for not keeping public places clean. When people, including the highly educated, can keep their house clean, why can't they be civic minded in public places? Today, it has become a fashion to have pet dogs. They are taken out in the streets to urinate and poo on footpaths and roads. People travelling in high end vehicles throw litter out of the window. Shops and houses sweep their places onto the footpaths. Walkers, even when public clean toilet is available, urinate in the open.
How many people say I don't want plastic covers from shops.
Very few do wet and dry segregation.
The list can go on. more
It is the citizens' responsibility to keep public places, including trains, clean. more
Now the focus has been shifted from swachhta to sanvidhan bachao. more
Sir very true but by the opposition leaders fake more
