Swachh Bharat On Ground

Dear all:

45 local Swachh Bharat circles are now available for various cities and constituencies. If you are not member of a local Swachh Bharat circle, you must look up your Swachh Bharat circle here and join:

http://tinyurl.com/Find-Swachh-Bharat-Circle

If you do not find a circle, please ensure your address is updated at: https://www.localcircles.com/a/profile

You can also create a Swachh Bharat circle if you don't find one.

It is recommended that via the local circle of Swachh Bharat in your constituency/city, citizens meet up for an in person discussion, cleanliness drive or visiting the civic agencies. The process can begin in the respective local Swachh Bharat circle.

Like some of the Swachh Bharat circles in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kanpur are already doing, please initiate on the ground drives and dialogue at the earliest.

We are also in the process of issuing communications to all urban local bodies so they increase their engagement with local citizen communities.

About two years back, after vigorous persuasion with MC , we have been able to set up a good park in our colony. Problem was to keep it clean. Two of us made it a routine while going through morning walk early morning to pick up pieces of plastic/ paper or anything left by the people and put in the dust bins. Soon we found that others also follow suit and now the park is always looks clean. more
