Swachh Bharat - situation in SGM Nagar, Faridabad
We are doing good for Swachh Bharat everwhere and our country is becoming clean. We arr educating people around our circle not to put garbage and other waste in the area where we live. However there are certain people in our society who does not care about the health of others and they do so. Moreover people are burning the plastics and polythene. Everbody knows what type of disease are caused when these polythene bags are burnt. We are compelled to live in the area. We have told several times to MCF people to collect the garbage and take them away, however they do not do so and they also burn the waste. See how pathetic is our condition. We talk of Swachh bharat but people are there not to understand the things. No body including MCF is helping us. Please see todays picture captured by me. My humble request to the concerned authorities and NGT people are to please come and check the condition and help us. We are starving to take a breath. People are being caught by TB and other type of infectious disease but who cares.... more

Very true. Heaps of garbage gets burnt everyday even opposite to the hospital, NH Narayana Hospital on Andul road sees the same middle aged act every day. There is a party office of the TMC just near the hospital but I think that the cadres who sits there are so pygmy headed that they only laugh but does nothing to stop it. We must raise our voice as a GOVERNMENT WHO CANNOT GIVE CLEAN AIR OR POLLUTION FREE ENVIRONMENT, Clean Water and Good roads cannot give good governance. So educated people on this forum should raise their concern specially when they come to ask for vote and the agenda should be what have they done to give a clean environment. The swatch bharat wll be a total failure as it is now if people are not stopped with strong hands. The burning of waste which now seems to be a fashion and the easiest thing to do is becoming a menace and very soon 1 in every house will suffer either from asthma or cancer. If we do not wake up now tomorrow we might have to land up in hospitals paying hefty bills more

Swachh Bharat has to be teackled on Mission Moe, not the way it isbeing dealt with presently. Currently we are only wasting time. IF acertain amount is spared from Ganga Cleaning project, that pilot can be done, and subsequently exteded as a solution. more

Waste burning should be stopped at any cost. The burning waste cause carbon monoxide, smoke and injurious pollution in the air. more
