Swiss: No list of Indian cash being readied
The Swiss government on Monday denied outright that it is preparing a list of suspected Indian tax evaders or had plans to prepare one to be given to India. “It is completely wrong. There is no list,” Swiss spokesman Mario Tuor, from the department handling international financial affairs, told this newspaper over the phone from Bern.
A news agency report widely reported in the media had quoted unnamed Swiss government officials claiming that it has prepared a list of Indians suspected to have stashed black money in Swiss banks, and that details of this would be shared with the Indian government.
Mr Tuor said he was aware of the reports in the Indian media, but these were not correct.
Union finance minister Arun Jaitley said Monday that his ministry will write to the Swiss authorities to expedite information on Indians who have unaccounted money in banks there.
Mr Jaitley said his ministry is yet to receive any official communication from Switzerland on the “black money” suspected to be stashed in Swiss banks.
A Swiss embassy statement in New Delhi said there was no new development.
“Since a high-level Swiss delegation met its India counterparts in New Delhi in February 2014, no further official meeting has taken place,” it said. more

Mr. Jaitley will finish his term saying the same thing with different selection of words. Nothing really is coming back to Indian people which has already been deposited in Swiss Bank. People need to make a choice whether they continue to be trapped by words of these shrewd politicians like Achche Din. more

Was the earlier news of list of Swiss accounts correct or the news was 'corrected' after the earlier news. Obviously all the account holders are not common people and have a lot of influence in right places. more

i guess there are more than 70 countries where there could be black money of india.....Current govt. will have to show great great strength like Arvind Kesriwal to discuss black money issue with these countries very very strongly and seriously as AK deal with big big electricity companies in DELHI,all it requires honest intention and seriousness like AK...............AK is the boss..................One honest guy can have courage to take these kinda decisions..........others just talk and show to public that something is going on at this front ,might be to make fool of people......................Need to get the work done at 0'tolerence..........BJP know the governance but to learn GOOD & HONEST governance they may have to contact AK...............no one in Indian history has performed so much in mere 49 days..................... more
