SWOLLEN FEET.

I am diabetic since 2 years, aged 68 years. I do not know what is the exact cause of swollen feet? Every thing was fine, before I did in routine Braj assan and also hydrotherapy treatment after assan, contrast feet emerssion by using hot and also cold water. My one feet got swollen,I think it was due hot water flow on the feet direct from Water Tap to my feet. I am feeling difficulty for the last 20 days due to swollen feet. Unable to have morning walk. Had also physiotherapy treatment by application of like ultrasound, cold pack but not feeling normal.
Kindly advice and guide.
If having help will be greatly appreciable.

Yes see a doctor. It could be a matter of tissue damage. more
Swollen feet may be due to: 1. High blood pressure with low diastolic pressure. 2. Liver dysfunction. 3. Kidneys dysfunction. 4. Low blood serum proteins to retain water in blood.Take protein rich diet. above all you are diabetic. 5 So get thoroughly checked the organs' functioning, before having medication. Till then consume less water, keep pillow below feet while sleeping to raise them and facilitate circulation of blood and prevent retention of water in tissues. 6.Keep legs folded (Sukhaasan)above while in chair , don't hand them down. more
1. Before performing any exercises or YOGA - one should give importance to the individual customized problems and relevant practices should be adapted. Swollen feet can be caused even from urinary discharge problems too and hence comprehensive checking must be done appropriately. Generally equal quantity like 100ml of Cucumber juice with tender coconut water and banana stem juice can be consumed to cleanse bowels and it induces the metabolic cleansing. This would help in reducing the swollen feet. 2. Long hours of sitting in chairs can also be cause for swollen feet. Before restoring proper blood circulation in the whole body - any exercises or any actions done can cause damage to the body. So please make sure to have enough walking time and standing loosening exercises before doing any actions or asana. Consult any professional Yoga therapists in your area for personal check up for further advices, as it is not adviceble to only "suggest" here without knowing your lifestyle and health background checking. All the best. more
Swollen feet in a diabetic should be taken seriously. If the hot water has damaged the tissues in your foot, it is quite possible that infection might have set in. This is all the more serious because in such cases there is the risk of gangrene setting in, which if left untreated could be life threatening. I would not advise you to wait for some miracle suggestion in Swacch Bharat; instead you should immediately see a surgeon as well as a physician. Keep your blood sugar within normal limits and follow the surgeon's advice more
swollen feet problem may be by any reason as some drugs may have effected viens circulation, intake of salt,Heart and BP problems,Relax but and have full diagnosis Blood Test CBC,Chest X ray,Dopler ultrasound examination of leg viens,ECG,Uranylis. Some treatment I am suggeting which might give you relief: Put your legs on pillows to raise them above your heart while lying down. Exercise your legs. This helps pump fluid from your legs back to your heart. Follow a low-salt diet, which may reduce fluid buildup and swelling. Wear support stockings (sold at most drugstores and medical supply stores). When traveling, take breaks often to stand up and move around. Avoid wearing tight clothing or garters around your thighs. Lose weight if you need to. Magnesium suppliment may also help in swollen feet. Try these .Perhaps you may get relief. c.b.bairathi jaipur Rajasthan Mobile +91 98280 17173 more
