Here comes the challenge. At two fronts precisely. One at our and another with Aadhaar. I will touch upon our challenge later. As far as UIDAI or Aadhaar is concerned they do not reprint Aadhaar unless you request for any update, I.e. adress or other contact details etc. But you can locate nearest enrollment center which also prints Aadhaar card. Generally they charge 30/- rupees (This is not Aadhaar service and should be considered private). Benefit you will get that it is a plastic (RC type) card, which is easy to carry and lasts longer than paper. Coming to the solution at our end. Aadhaar is a biometric based service. It does not need a card or paper as proof. A person himself, with intact finger prints or IRIS, is an ID card. He or she just have to remember his or her Aadhaar no. only. The authority started printing paper or eAadhaar because of pre-mature roll out of schemes by governments due to the limited education or capabilities of Indians or suiting our ID card carrying psyche. Aadhaar is never authenticated against an ID card but using biometric or OTP as easy alternative. more

Already receved e-aadhar from site but awaited physical aadhar card for my wife since 15-09-16 & grand daughter since 26_10_16. more

Do you have their enrollment no. You can trace status using that on https://resident.uidai.net.in.check-aadhaar-status Most of the time Aadhaar gets generated within a week but logistics takes time. It is also observed that POST (not courier service) dono deliver them. It will be easy for you to check online and download ecopy. Please post if still a challenge observed. more
