T N Government's bad decision on appointment of vice chancellors

It is shocking to know that Tamil Nadu government has decided to directly appoint the Vice Chancellors of universities in Tamil Nadu, giving up the present procedure of Governor (Chancellor) appointing the Vice chancellors.

This would result in nepotism , political favourtism and corruption in appointing the vice chancellors and would sharply bring down the quality of education in the universities and discipline in administration.

Even now , when there is strict procedures for appointing vice chancellors, in the past, there have been accusations of corruption in the appointment of vice chancellors due to the interference of politicians in an indirect way and several vice chancellors have been suspected for corruption.

Already, the standards of education in Tamil Nadu in schools and colleges have come down due to political interference

It is sad that students in Tamil Nadu have to face such disturbing atmosphere of politicians attempting to get complete hold over every sphere including education.
This will make the future of Tamil Nadu very bleak .

Tamil Nadu students are now paying a very high price

Very tru sir,the public has been havivg several such complaints the past 10 years. To have a check on that the responsibility wwas rested on the Governor. After Jayalalitha fell sick there waere several such appointments, as there was no competent person to select. Bt the present Govt. always constitutes a committee of experts to get the opinion; like the Fince committee, Flood mitigation committee and so on. So there will be no need. more
This is DMK ruling state, no one can do any thing including court or PM or Governor or Even president they do rule as per their policy (ie) anti Hindu and corruption scientifically to practice these they pass resolutions and make it as the law of this Jungle (TN) they will ensure NEET is removed, so that they can make huge money through medical admission in their Binami institutions. more
