As far as TN is concerned , the Health Dept. is doing a commendable work. It was TN that detected the first 4 cases in Madurai traced from the Nizamudheen conference . Which was visited by 8,000/9,000 people from all over India and some foreign countries ,during the few days ending on 14/15 March . The saddest part is that from TN 1,500 had attended ONLY 600 TRACABLE . BUT THE DEPT . ISNT LEAVING ANY STONE UNTURNED . Now the centre has cleared over 2000 from the conference complex . Though TN Incidence was late and low initially the total spiked to more than 200 , 110 of them are fron the Nizamudheen cofrence returnees . More interventions and quarantines are being done . Good numbers have also gone to A.P. Telengana, Karnataka & kerala besides the northern states . more
I felet they have identified the root cause from where it is spreading, still the people who attended conference is delihi should come forward to take health test and support the mission. It is more important..... i think even if they are not comming forward their health will get affected within april 7TH, then automatically no choice for them, they will come out. more
Hitherto ( now it is 9.18 AM on 02/04/2020 ) four respondents have commented and all have almost uniformly backed the govt. in the latter's efforts to contain the spread of the virus which is a mammoth task. Some with wickedness to the core sadistically derive pleasure from fishing in troubled waters. A knot of religious bigots congregate to listen to some worthless sermons not being literate enough to realize the consequences of contravening govt.'s fiat. And the result is proliferation of a dreadful disease that could pound the society to smithereens. Kudos to the governments both at the center and at the state. I don't know in what manner the law-breakers who have contributed liberally to the spread of corona virus would be punished. But punished they should be.,, sankaran more
i wish the poster had read the newspaper yesterday ! more
Comparatively Tamilnadu Govt. is doing better. If the crow attendung Nizamuddin congregation was so irresponsible and unmindful of people at large God only should save them more
