Tamil nadu sets rates for lower level bribery via gifts
Nice so now once can guve a gift of up to 25000 to a Govt official in Tamil Nadu. One can also probably get an iphone for 50000 with a lower refurbished receipt and distribute. So forward looking. Shame on you Govt. more

This is official form of bribe, which is permitted in the government ??? The limit is also likely to increase every year, with the rate of inflation. more

What is wrong with this when NDA has corrupted the anti corruption law by recent amendment stipulating 7 years jail term for bribe givers & protecting bribe takers by mandating a prior sanction from competent authorities (which hardly comes), even to initiate an enquiry. It is a good move when no one is able to check bribery - same as smoking , drinking is injurious to health but government is opening shops in villages also for earning revenue similarly government is trying to legalise bribery to earn tax on it -I think now INDIA will be able to at least top in the list of CORRUPT NATIONS. more
