tatkal ticket agents should be banned. Immediately if we open the irctc site within 5 minutes the tatkal quota is showing wait list. passengers are paying more charges towards tatkal, then why agents. In the middle if they come and book bulk tickets, passengers have to give thrice the rate of ticket charges to the agents. It is very difficult. Concerned authorities should look into this matter and abolish tatkal agents to book the tkt. more

Agree with the comment that there should be no agents for tatkal tkts. Do this for 3 months and have a review. Some times the autocracy works. more

It is the exact position narrated for tatkal booking. I have also complained regarding this, but there is no reply. If our voice is heard through this circle, I want to bring to the notice of cirle member following things: Tatkal in present form is nothing but black marketing of tickets by railways itself. Earlier one coach was reserved for tatkal, that was correct. But now there are upto 300 berths in tatkal quota. Did 300 people plan their journey in 1 day advance, answer is no. But these people wait for tatkal booking since 120 days, when they are not able to get their tickets at the time of opening. So I request railways give option while booking tickets that if ticket is not confirmed till opening of tatkal then waitlisted passengers should get preference in tatkal if they opt for that. So they dont have to cancel their tkt and book again. They will just have to pay the balance amount. By this all agents and touts will be removed. more
