Tax Evasion in marketplace transactions

There is a whole bunch of businesses like OLX, ebay, businesses that facilitate commerce between individual buyers and sellers. Most of them around selling second hand items or renting them etc.

Question is who is administering that GST is being levied on these transactions.

I have had friends buying 25,000 rupee laptops from sellers and no one paying any tax.

Is GST council listening? more
