Tax reform is required which should not affect common man & middle class.Target black money to get back our economy. more

I completely agree with Mukesh Goel. The Taxation should be simple & shouldn't be a durden for the common people. more

I think many are putting too much emphasis on return of Black Money and boosting our economy. We must not forget that firstly it will take time. It is not going to be easy exercise. Our tax plans or financial planning should not be depended upon this only. Rather we must not take this factor at all in our plans. We must look into as if its not there.Yes we must make Tax structure simple and in such a manner that people are encouraged to save and pay tax honestly. more

"Before the elections Dr.Subramaniam Swamy has made a proposal to abolish all taxes and to introduce a tax at the rate of 1.5% on all transactions which will fetch an amount more that of the total taxes collected now. If it materializes it will be a good idea and there will be no room for any type of evasions" - A good innovative idea.and our new Govt can have a look to implement instead of having various direct and indirect, slab systems. "At the same time if the black money is brought to the books of Government there is another view that we need not collect any taxes for the next thirty years to meet all government expenditures. Let us wait how things will take shape and at the same time we will keep hopes on the present Government for a better India." - The committee formed by the Govt should act fast and get our money back to country though it is not a very easy job to accomplish. more

Surendranath, i would like to go with your views. Today the common man, middle class and the salaried people are the genuine tax payers. if the black money is back to books, economy will definitely boom. Our Govt must take all actions towards achieving this by taking tough steps. more
