Tax refund
All salaried employees are filling the Tax return by end of every financial year. Citizens are filing the TAX on time but tax refund never happened from govt.This is our hard earned money, and there is no due date for tax refund. Shri Modiji have to look this issue and make a proper structure for Tax return on time. This is serious and major people impacted issue. more

I fully agree with Shri Ranjith Kumar ji. There should be a time limit for refund of tax and interest should be paid if there is delay in refund. more

SBI. Phulbari Branch, Meghalaya, PIN-794104, issued TDS certificates for two years -AY= 2012-13 & 2013-14 against interest of our fixed deposits which are not accepted by the IT department. The TDS done by the bank are not reflected in 26 AS and we had to pay the tax again. No action has been taken by the bank though we have requested the branch manager in writing and verbally several times. Might be the similar thing is happening to many others. more

Government collects taxes from your hard earned money. So when government do not refund the due taxes in time, the taxpayer should accept it as another way of government, funding itself. I agree with Mr Ranjithkumar. Especially refund for manual submission of Tax Returns is a serious issue . IT Dept does not bother to make payment timely and also in some case they do not pay and they make people rounds and rounds.
