TDR filing criteria for RAC passengers
Yesterday! I had 5 WL reservation on train no 12175, from HWH to DBA in SL. After chart preparation all accommodation got RAC, me and my younger brother decide to not board the train, as other 3 passengers got at least 2 conformed accommodation.
In past Railway had rule for online passengers to file TDR after train reach its destination Station. But, now since 2015! The Great Indian Railways imposed a new anti-people rule that "filing of TDR for RAC Accommodation is done before 30 minutes of train schedule departure." At-least the give us the time up-to schedule departure.
I think! this is only the source of income by backdoor and the facilities provided is going day by day more worst, coaches are unclean, fans are not in working condition. In S-3 coach of train no. 12175, fans are dead. The Grate Indian Railway. Now a days! Railway is fully launching this types of anti-people rule, as the dynamic fares in Rajdhani, Duranto and Shatabdi Trains.
I want to know with this community, It is possible file a public interest petition in any court? more

Today I was filing TDR for RAC ticket in Danapur Secundrabad train before 30 minutes of schedule dep. of train. However it was showing that TDR filling is to be done before 30 min of dep. I think railway is just making loot of public money buy making such stupid rule, which are completely anti people. Earlier there was 30 days period to file TDR. Its very impractical to file TDR. At least there should be time period of train destination / 72 hrs. Further buy way of introducing dynamic fare just looting traveler. Normally all the Rajdhani 3rd AC fare are equivalent to Air fare. Just plug the loop holes which are causing harm to railways but not making anti people rules. Railway is not looking public perspective at all. more

It's really pathetic for Indians, Railways introduce anti-people rules day by day. In May-June of this year when there is election in four states, delusion spread out that railway is going to stop dynamic fare system in railways, if there is huge rush the run new train on same route with tatkal fare only and lots of public-fine rules. But its was only a BIG GAG BY MR. FEKU. more

I have to travel to Lucknow on 24th October for an urgent family work with my wife. When I tried Hwh-ND Rajdhani, tickets were available in AC 2 tier but for 2 persons, one way fare (jackedup by recent draconian rule) was Rs. 3,360 for 1 person x 1 way....! That means aound 14,000/- for complete journey. I booked in Indigo at yatra.com and got confirmed air tickets at 12,632/- for updown 2 persons though up flight timing ate a bit uncomfortable....! See the fun...! Anybody who has doubt can check on internet himself.... All the Railway Ministers in last 25 years including Mr. Prabhu are indulging in vote bank & politically gain oriented decisions.... that'll. No political party is interested in country's development. more
