Tdr refund always delayed

Railways has brought in tdr facility. They say once tdr filed payment will be credited with in 90 days. When payment doesn't come u write to irctc they say concerned railway has not made the pay order hence we r unable to make payment. U write to concerned railways no reply. I applied for tdr on 5th sep. it got approved for payment on 25th sep. It is more than 95 days payment not rec'd. Will railways look into this. more

Dear Mr. Abhay As per my experience the TDR was rejected by railway giving the reason that train runs time for the confirmed tatkal ticket but as per the confirmation from rail inquiry system train was late by more than 11 hrs hence when IR rejected my TDR claim i filed RTI and I got my refund and railway in response sent one letter for RTI mentioning that TDR claimed has been refunded so and so date. So as per my experience when I was failed and my refund was denied by IRCTC as well railways then I had to choose RTI which smoothly helped me in refunding my total amount. more
TDR is an useless procedure most of the time. That's why IR has introduced it's silly rule of no auto-refund for wait-listed tickets, a complete fraudulent procedure. This is just to earn good amount refusing TDRs / en-cashing people's problem of refund request within a short time after chart preparation etc etc without doing anything. Sometimes back my train was delayed by 5 hours at night for a 4 hours journey (Udupi-GOA) so we came back and filed TDR refund request well before the train arrived at UDUPI. To my surprise IR replied that I had undertaken that journey so no refund. For your information the SM and other staffs refused to endorse the ticket while leaving the station. Such is the corruption at IR. We are helpless AAM ADMI in front of all Govt corruption. more
I have filed TDR twice in the past & even approving the refund had took more than 90 days; but post approval, I got the money within 10 days. I don't what long investigations were going on before approving that; just TTE's chart has to be taken up. And I support Mr. Roy's & Mr. Davinder's comment that IR takes many penalties from us but never compensates to us and yes IRCTC is scam company with full Authorization by the govt. more
