Does anyone has experience in treating or getting treated, psychiatric problems induced during teenage years. The symptoms are Irritability, forgetfullness, lack of focus, lethargy, sometimes maniacal behaviour, Cognitive issues (like does not realize what he/she must be doing at this age etc) etc. I am looking for natural and supplement based treatment and other treatments outside main stream prescription medication. Ayurvedic, allopathic, Natural therapy or any other plan that would treat the problem from root cause. Currently taking lot of supplements suggested by Naturopathic Doctor, but progress is not very visible. Supplements which subject is taking are Vitamin D3 (15K-20K IU per day), Omega 3 in high dose, Multitude of other minerals and supplements. It is quite natural to have physical and mental changes during teenage years, but when the child become aggressive, hurts themselves or others, not focusing, lethargic, maniac behavior, etc. appropriate pscychologic intervention with a child psychologist is needed. The earlier the child gets treatment, recovery will be soon. First the child needs to be evaluated, then can go on with appropriate medication along with holistic approaches like Yoga and Meditation. Never forget appropriate evaluation by a child psychologist is needed to diagnose the exact cause, then only the problem can be resolved from the roots. Otherwise, the supplements, yoga, meditation, spiritual healing, etc. will work only for a short while and when child may show recurrence. Nothing to worry, child will be alright soon. Meditation alone would help tremendously. Start with daily meditation for 40 days (20 to 30 minutes at a stretch per day). This would bring about a noticeable improvement. Inner Child Work and Past Life Regression can also be considered if there is no improvement during these 40 days. more
Suggest a “Raja Yoga” meditation as taught by ‘Brahmakumaris’ would surely not only help in this case but completely transform the person in to new energizing personality.
